DIXFIELD – The Board of Selectmen has postponed its meeting Monday at Ludden Memorial Library so members can attend a meeting between Rumford and Mexico selectmen that night, Town Manager Carlo Puiia said.
The Rumford-Mexico boards’ meeting will be at 6 p.m. at the Mexico Town Office.
“The Rumford and Mexico boards are going to be meeting with Oxford County Sheriff Wayne Gallant Monday evening,” Puiia said, “and since Mexico turned to us about possibly merging police services, the board wanted to sit in on the meeting to see which direction the towns were thinking of heading in.”
The Dixfield board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the library.
