WILTON — The Planning Board approved construction of apartments for the fourth floor of the Bass Wilson Building on Thursday.
The board held a public hearing on the project, but no residents attended.
The project at the former G.H. Bass & Co. factory at 284 Main St. proposes eight apartments and one master suite, Joey Cousineau previously said.
Construction will probably start in a month or two, owner Randy Cousineau told the board following its consent.
The one- and two-bedroom apartments will be built in a fourth-floor space used for storage and an apartment for the owner.
The project has come before the board a few times within the past few months as the plan developed, Joey Cousineau said.
