LISBON FALLS — A memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Maurice St. Laurent was celebrated Monday morning, Nov. 24, by the Rev. Lionel Chouinard at Holy Trinity Church.
During the Mass, Maurice’s son, Jim St. Laurent, and Maurice’s daughter, Debbie Bechard, brought the offertory gifts to the altar at the time of communion.
At the conclusion of Mass, the U.S. Air Force Honor Detail played taps and presented our country’s flag to Maurice’s wife, Stella, in recognition of her husband’s service to our country during the Korean Conflict.
Bearers were all five of Maurice’s grandchildren, Jerod, Brandon and Angela Bechard, as well as Megan and Benjamin St. Laurent. Burial will be held at a later date at St. John’s Cemetery in Brunswick. All in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Chick-A-Dee Restaurant in Lewiston.
Arrangements were by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
