BRUNSWICK – The “Our Health: Film and Discussion Series” continues at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Frontier Cinema and Cafe, 14 Maine St.

Offered jointly by Mid Coast Hospital and Access Health, the next film, “A Winter of Cyclists” will be screened, followed by a discussion about biking in the Midcoast community.

The event is free and open to the public.

A Winter of Cyclists is a documentary film that chronicles a group of cyclists as they complete a 52-day winter biking commuting challenge known as the “Icy Bike Winter Commuting Challenge.” Touching upon winter commuting logistics, adverse weather conditions, and riding during the darker part of the year, this film seeks to inspire bikers to consider biking as a viable commuting option all year long.

Kevin Shute, program director at Bath Area YMCA and Bath Bike & Pedestrian Committee chair; Mark Fochesato, Icy Bike Winter Challenge participant; and Bob Bruce of the Merrymeeting Wheelers Bicycle Club will lead the audience in a discussion directly following the film.

The film series will continue throughout the year, featuring films that shine a spotlight on important health topics for the Midcoast region. For upcoming films and to reserve seats, visit: http://www.explorefrontier.com/schedule/film.
