LISBON — The Lisbon Trail System consists of Ricker Farm Trail, Paper Mill Trail and Androscoggin River Trail.

The Lisbon Town Council passed a motion to have the Lisbon and Lisbon Falls snowmobile clubs groom the trails to provide a smooth path to be enjoyed by walkers, snowshoers and cross-country skiers.

The decision to stop plowing the trails this winter was made after careful consideration. Alternatively, the trails will be groomed when the clubs determine the snow conditions are appropriate for grooming.

Snowmobiles will also have access to the trail with a speed limit of 10 miles per hour. All other motorized vehicles are prohibited from using the Lisbon Trail System.
