LEWISTON — A memorial service honoring the life of Carol Smith was held Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Peppe, who officiated, and Norma Rice Gould, who served as organist.

During the service, Carol’s son, Rick, recited the poem, “Angel for All Seasons,” written by Carol’s sister, Karen. Words of Remembrance were shared by Carol’s son, Gary. Former Lewiston High School Principal Richard Sykes spoke on behalf of Carol, who was his former administrative assistant at the school.

At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.

Committal prayers will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, in the Chapman Room of Gracelawn Memorial Park, followed by final burial.
