WESTBROOK (AP) — Police in Maine say they’ve arrested two New York men after seizing crack, heroin, a loaded weapon and money from a motel room.

Westbrook Police Chief Janine Roberts said a bail violation investigation lead them to a Westbrook motel room on Sunday, Nov. 23rd.

Roberts said that during the investigation the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Portland and Westbrook canine teams were called in to assist.

WCSH-TV reported that the investigation resulted in the arrest of 36-year-old Deshaun Davis and 33-year-old Tod Rasberry, both from Brooklyn, New York.

The two face charges including drug trafficking and forgery.

Police say 35 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of heroin, a loaded firearm, and $4,000 in cash were seized.

Roberts said the delay in notifying the public was due to the ongoing investigation.
