AUBURN — Roberta Jean Mason of North Turner, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 30, at the age of 68. She was surrounded by her beloved family.
Roberta, also known as “Berta,” “Bert” and “Nana,” was born on July 14, 1946, in Livermore to Elmer and Mildred Gordon. She graduated from Leavitt Institute in 1964.
She worked as a cutter at Livermore Shoe and Falcon Shoe and was a supervisor at Cole Haan.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, her family and her pets. Roberta is survived by her husband of 47 years, Douglas Mason; her son, Anthony Mason and his wife, Jill Blank; and grandson, Liam. She is also survived by her five siblings, Marion Singer, Helen Fitzherbert and Stanley Gordon of Livermore, Linda St. Laurent of East Livermore and Russell Gordon of Wales.
She was predeceased by her parents; and her brother, Rodney.
