NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital’s Physical Rehabilitation Department announces that Lissa Merrill, PT/director, and Amy Bottomley, DPT, were certified in Level 1 Concussion Management training by the Maine Concussion Management Initiative. They attended a program held in Portland in October.
Although the focus of the training was on helping the safety of Maine athletes by providing return-to-learn and return-to-play guidelines, the program also shared information on how to clinically help all people with brain injury.
