Cribbage winners in Lewiston

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on Dec. 4 were:

First place, Shirley Miller and Richard Cloutier; second place, Fran St. Pierre; third place, Trudy Faunce and Robert Oliver; fourth place, Anita Maheux and Dwight Webb; and fifth place, Sandy Oliver and Pat Crowell.

The next game will be played at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11. That is also the date of the annual holiday pot luck lunch, to be served after cribbage play. Snow date is Dec. 18.

Dart tourney in Auburn

AUBURN — The New Auburn Social Club will hold a dart tournament at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13.

Sign up from 6 to 6:45 p.m.; entry fee is $10.

First place prize, based on 40 shooters, will be $200; if 50 players, then prize will be $300.

Proceeds will benefit Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services.

Winter Festival Dec. 13 in Turner

TURNER — The 11th annual Winter Festival will be held at the Leavitt Institute Building from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13.

Activities will include visits with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, crafts for the children, silent auction, bake sale, raffle, shopping and lunch.

Sponsors are The Turner Public Library and the Turner Historical Museum.
