LEWISTON — St. Mary’s Health System welcomes Philip Hickey as its new vice president of elder care services. Hickey has more than 30 years of experience in the senior living field, with an extensive background in independent living, assisted living, skilled care and rehabilitative care.
Most recently, Hickey was the CEO/executive director of Twining Village in Holland, Pa., an elder care complex with 225 independent living units, 117 personal care suites and 82 skilled and rehabilitative care beds.
Hickey will oversee St. Mary’s Residences, a 128-unit independent living residence, and St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion. D’Youville Pavilion is one of the largest nursing homes north of Boston and the flagship component of the elder care services offered through St. Mary’s Health System. It is home to two specialized rehabilitative care units, a secure dementia unit and skilled long-term care units.
