WINTERPORT — Two more people have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a medical marijuana grower in Winterport this fall.

Police say a total of four people are facing charges in the Sept. 21 robbery in which three of the suspects dressed up as law enforcement officers.

Kerry Hurd was arrested Thursday in Bucksport on charges of robbery, impersonating a public servant, trespass and theft by unauthorized taking.

Maine State Police say 28-year-old April Jones, of Orneville Township, who allegedly drove the getaway vehicle, was also arrested. Both Hurd and Jones were jailed.

The Portland Press Herald reports that two other men — 35-year-old Scott Roberts and 47-year-old Jeffrey Hurd, both of Glenburn — turned themselves on Oct. 1 after police released video images from the alleged crime.
