1959 – 2014

FARMINGTON — Ronald C. “Ronnie” Wright, 55, of North Jay, died at Franklin Memorial Hospital on Wednesday morning, Dec. 17.

Ronnie was born on July 3, 1959, a son of Aubrey and Joyce (Berry) Wright. He attended local schools and graduated from Jay High School. Ronnie held many construction jobs throughout his life, working primarily as a welder.

He married Tammie Osgood on Nov. 21, 1987. Together, Ronnie and Tammie built their house in North Jay, which is the gathering spot for many family and friends.

Ronnie enjoyed hunting and fishing, but especially loved riding his motorcycle. Ronnie and Tammie shared many memories riding on his bike and going on spontaneous road trips. He was known for his cooking skills and had a knack for experimenting in the kitchen. Above all, Ronnie was a family man known for his generous spirit and will surely be missed by all.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Tammie Wright; a son, Darreyl Wright, of Skowhegan; a sister, Laurie Wright, of Wilton and her daughter, Sarah Henry; grandchildren, Chase, Sammie and Aubrey Wright, all of Skowhegan; sister-in-law, Stacy Baker, of East Dixfield; sister-in-law, Shawn Osgood, of Saco; sister-in-law, Tracy Plaisted and her husband, Kevin, of East Dixfield; brother-in-law, Chipper Osgood; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; a baby brother, Darreyl Wright; and a niece, Brandy Henry.
