LEWISTON — Lewiston Adult Education has announced that registrations are now being accepted for the winter/spring semester.

Program brochures were recently mailed to all residents of Lewiston and Auburn and are available at 50 locations throughout the Twin Cities. A full listing of course offerings is also available online at www.lewistonadulted.org.

Listed inside the booklet are details on over 125 learning opportunities. Areas include academics (high school completion and college preparation), vocational trade, business, and computers. The general interest section includes art, cooking, dance, fitness, health, language, gardening, music, personal finance, traditional crafts and writing.

There are many new course offerings, including Cooking with Quinoa, Mexican Fiesta, American Sign Language, Long-Term Care Insurance, Get Ready to Bike, Piano and Blogging.

Returning favorites include Pottery, Open Art Studio, Conversational Somali, Guitar, Boating Safety, Move to the Beat and Chair Caning.

For those with an interest in workforce certificates, Certified Nursing Assistant, Welding and Office Skills are available, as well as Emergency Medical Technician training through United Ambulance.
