LEWISTON — Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community is offering a free, eight-session class, “Creating Your Future,” beginning with an orientation from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22.

Classes will then be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Thursdays, starting Monday, Jan. 26, and continuing on Jan. 29 and Feb. 2, 5, 9, 17 and 19 at the Lewiston Center at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston Auburn College, 51 Westminster St., Lewiston.

During the class, attendees will examine their work values and interests, identify transferable skills and learn techniques to manage a paycheck effectively. They will create a plan to achieve their career goals.
