LIVERMORE FALLS — Classes in Regional School Unit 73 have been cancelled Friday, Jan. 23, so teachers and students may attend the funeral of Diane Castonguay-Gould, who represented Livermore on the school board.
Gould was killed in an accident on Route 17 in Fayette on Monday morning.
Superintendent Kenneth Healey originally authorized an early dismissal for Friday but changed it to a full day because the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Jay.
He said in an email that Friday will be considered a snow day and will be made up in June.
After-school activities will be held as usual Friday.
