Sermon: ‘Keeping up Appearances’
PARIS — Silver Moore-Leamon will lead the worship service at The First Universalist Church on Pine Street on Feb. 1.
The title of the 10 a.m. sermon is “Keeping up Appearances.”
Music is under the direction of Donna Hurd and Sunday School is under the direction of Renee Wales.
A “Bruch” coffee hour will follow the worship service and all are welcome. Childcare is available and the First Universalist Church is wheelchair accessible.
Ash Wednesday service at Sumner church
SUMNER — An Ash Wednesday service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Congregational Church of East Sumner, 50 Main St.
Phillips Comm. Church annual meeting
PHILLIPS — The Phillips Community Church will hold its annual meeting at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at the Community House on Main Street.
There will be a buffet dinner followed by the meeting. Bring a dish to share.
