LOVELL — Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Greater Lovell Land Trust’s Animal Tracking/Winter Adaptations walk planned for Saturday, Feb. 7, has been moved to Saturday, Feb. 14. Meet at the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library parking lot on Route 5 at 10 a.m. and plan to caravan to a private property from there. Dress appropriately and bring snowshoes, water and a snack.

Become nature detectives as participants search for tracks animals leave behind. Walkers will also look for scat and other signs of wildlife as organizers talk about the natural adaptations animals use to help them blend into their surroundings.

Plan to be out for at least two hours, maybe a bit longer, depending on conditions.

If the weather is questionable, an announcement will be posted on the group’s Facebook page and at www.gllt.org, as well as on the GLLT answering machine at 207-925-1056.
