AUGUSTA — Two men are at MaineGeneral Medical Center, one with a significant chest wound, after a double stabbing Sunday morning.

One of the victims is a 27-year-old man from Rockland and the other is a 23-year-old from Augusta, according to Augusta Police Department Sgt. Vicente Morris.

Police responded to a call shortly before 2:30 a.m. at a Stewart Lane apartment and found the two men.

Morris said the men are not cooperating with police. He said the investigation is continuing and there could be charges.

Police did not release the identities of the two men or other details of the case.
