LIVERMORE FALLS — Two women were injured Thursday morning when their vehicles collided at Route 133 and Campground Road near Pike’s Corner Oasis.

Nicole Caprara, 43, of Portland was driving north on Route 133 when Vicki Foster, 63, of Fayette stopped at a stop sign on Campground Road before turning onto Route 133, officer Devon Bohacik said.

Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to get Foster out of her 2011 Subaru Forester.

Foster was taken by ambulance to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with a possible head injury, Bohacik said. Her injuries were not life-threatening, he said.

Caprara, who was driving a 2015 Mazda sport utility vehicle, received minor injuries and was treated at the scene, he said.

Both women were wearing seat belts. The air bags deployed in both vehicles, which were towed from the 8:24 a.m. crash.
