First Saturday at the Williams House
WAYNE — The next First Saturday at the Williams House will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 7, at 14 Old Winthrop Road.
There will be a book sale, boutique and breakfast.
Stop by for coffee or tea, and quiche or a scone, visit with neighbors and shop at the ongoing book sale and boutique. All proceeds benefit the Wayne Library Association.
The Veggies to play March 7 at Legion
MECHANIC FALLS — One of Maine’s best classic rock bands will rock the night away on Saturday, March 7, to support the Mechanic Falls Recreation Department.
The Veggies will play at the American Legion Hall, 41 Elm St. Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets are $15 per person. All proceeds will support the Mechanic Falls Recreation programs, activities and events. Throughout the night there will be a cash bar and a chance to win some raffle prizes provided by area businesses.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at Bryant Energy in Mechanic Falls or email mechanicfallsrec@yahoo.com to reserve tickets. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
