1968 – 2015

FAYETTE — William “Billy” C. Remington Jr., 46, a resident of Fayette, died peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 26, at his home.

He was born in Augusta on April 1, 1968, the son of Mary Jane (Partridge) Mitchell and William C. Remington Sr. He attended school in Livermore Falls. Through the years, he worked as a woodsman and in construction as a pipefitter, welder and mechanic.

Billy was a member of United Bikers of Maine. He enjoyed NASCAR and loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and snowmobiling, but especially loved the time he spent with his children.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Mitchell, of Fayette; two sons, Derek W. Remington of Fayette and Charles W. Remington of Livermore Falls; three daughters, Brandy Oliver of Wilton, Ashalen Remington of Livermore Falls and Alexis “Bella” Casey of Livermore Falls; three sisters, Melissa Remington and significant other, Tim Swenson, of Old Orchard Beach, Julie Mitchell and significant other, Easton Ogarro, of Livermore Falls and Leslie Mitchell and significant other, Jerry Flagg Jr., of Chesterville; three grandchildren, Blaike, Lily and Rosalie; two nieces; six nephews; one great-niece; and the mother of Alexis and Charles, Michelle Riordan, of Livermore Falls.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Charles and Lelia Partridge; and an infant brother, James Mitchell.
