Neighborhood: March 11, 1:30 p.m., Trinity Methodist Church, flower arranging. FMI, 778-4517.

North Chesterville: March 19, 7 p.m., Chesterville Town Office, county spring meeting planning. FMI,  778-3156.

Strong: March 24, 10 a.m., Methodist Parish House, learning, sharing and cookies. FMI, 684-4538.

Weld: March 10, 10:30 a.m., Town Office, program on Italy. FMI,  585-2545.

Wilton Day: March 12, 10 a.m., St. Luke‘s Church, learn cooking for one. Craft day will be held there on March 19, making dish clothes and potholders. FMI, 645-2423.

The public is welcome to join the group at any of its meetings or community service projects.

Franklin County Extension Homemakers do educational programs, learning new things, have fun and enjoy food and friendship.

New members are welcome. There are day and evening meetings, and members do one or two community service projects each year.

The homemakers work in partnership with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.
