AUBURN — During the month of March, the Auburn Public Library’s Teen Life Skills Series will feature two special programs focused on job searching.
On Thursday, March 17, Lisa Hartnett of the Career Center will talk with teens about how to look and apply for a job. Whether looking for your first, part-time job or nearing the end of high school and seeking full-time employment, the information she provides will be essential toward your success.
Your application just got you an interview. How should you dress? What questions will they ask? On Thursday, March 24, Hartnett is back again, this time to share tips and advice on the interview process and how you can interview for the job with confidence.
Both of these programs will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room, and are just for teens, ages 12-18.
In addition to these two programs is the fourth annual Teen Opportunities Fair. This fair is co-sponsored by the Auburn Public Library and Lewiston Public Library and will take place on Saturday, March 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lewiston Public Library.
