To all of the proponents of allowing changes to the seat belt laws — if you win that right (to not buckle up), I believe that your insurance provider should have the right to deny insurance coverage.
Then, if you are injured in an automobile accident, I suggest a committee be formed that will be charged to decide (in a timely manner) whether you qualify for a ride to the hospital in a publicly-funded ambulance, or if you may receive medical attention when you arrive.
I respectfully request the right to deny paying for your medical care if you cannot personally afford it.
