FARMINGTON — Women, Work and Community is offering three free two-hour money management workshops on consecutive Tuesdays, March 17, 24 and 31, at its Farmington Center, 108 Perham St.

The titles are Your Money Personality, Budgeting Basics and Cleaning Up Your Credit.

In Your Money Personality on March 17, the unique “Money Habitudes” card sort activity will be used to identify an attendee’s money management style. Developed by Syble Solomon, this process helps show how habits and attitudes toward money affect decisions and actions related to money.

In Budgeting Basics on Marcy 24,  money tracking, goal-setting and ways to reduce expenses will be discussed.

In Cleaning Up Your Credit on March 31, attendees will learn how to reduce their debt, improve their credit and maintain a good credit score.

Those interested may sign up for one, two or all three workshops.

All services are open to men, women and couples of all ages and incomes. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.

Please contact WWC one week prior to the start of each workshop. These workshops are supported in part by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration, in partnership with the Central/Western Maine Workforce Investment Board and Maine Disability Employment Initiative.

For more information or to register for the training, please call Janet at 778-2757. TTY: Use Maine Relay 711.
