1946 – 2015
CORINNA — Levi Anthony Garrett, 68, of Passadumkeag, died Monday, March 16.
He was born July 26, 1946, in Rumford, the son of Aurel Lionell and Geneva Mae (Curtis) Garrett. Levi graduated from Mexico High School and then enlisted as a weatherman in the U.S. Navy for four years, where he served on the USS Wasp and USS Neptune. After his military service, he worked for the U.S. Government in construction and maintenance.
Levi enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was “a man of strength.”
Levi is survived by a sister, Pearl “Vikki” (Garrett) McPeak of Rumford; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by three brothers, Richard “Dicky” Garrett, David Garrett, and Loring Garrett; and a sister, Pamela Mary (Garrett) Martin.
