AUBURN — Maine Department of Transportation forum, “Talking Transportation” 2 p.m. in the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments building, 125 Manley Road. Members of the Western Maine outreach office will discuss traffic and transportation topics and concerns.

LEWISTON — Finance Committee meeting, 5:15 p.m. in the Administrator’s Conference Room on the bottom floor of City Hall.

AUBURN — City Council workshop, 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, Auburn Hall. Topics include the Great Falls Plaza transportation center and a presentation regarding the interim city manager’s proposed budget for the 2015-2016 fiscal year.

LEWISTON — Planning Board meeting, 5:30 p.m. on the bottom floor of City Hall.

LEWISTON — School Committee meeting, 6:45 p.m in the board room of the Dingley Building. Meeting topics include a presentation on a new elementary school, approval of the 2015-16 school calendar, budget discussion and a review of comments concerning the proficiency-based diploma debate.

Tuesday, March 24

LEWISTON — City Council workshop in the City Council Chamber on the bottom floor of City Hall. The workshop begins at 6 p.m. and features a presentation on the city adminstrator’s proposed budget for the 2015-2016 fiscal year.

Wednesday, March 25

AUBURN — Joint Lewiston-Auburn Charter Commission meeting, 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room in Auburn Hall. Topics include a continuing review of the model charter.

AUBURN — School Committee budget workshop at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, Auburn Hall. 

LEWISTON — Downtown Neighborhood Action Committee meeting, 6:30 p.m. in the Administrator’s Conference Room on the bottom floor of City Hall.
