1956 – 2015
DANVILLE — Persis Ann (Day) Grover, 58, of Danville, lost her battle with cancer on Thursday, March 19, at the Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.
Persis was born on May 3, 1956, in New Britain, Conn., the daughter of Roland And Shirley Payne Day. She was a graduate of Terryville High School.
Persis loved to going to her camp, going on road trips and four-wheeling.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Bruce Grover Sr. of Danville; her two sons, Bruce Grover II and his wife, Athena (Meads) Grover, of Wells, and John Grover and his wife, Cassie (Stanton) Grover, of Poland, and her daughter, Shelly Grover of Danville; her very good friend and sister, Lorri Bardell and her husband, George Bardell, of Plymouth, Conn. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Kaleb Stanton, Savannah Grover, Benjamin Grover, Lakota Grover and Ryan Grover.
Persis is predeceased by her mother; father; and her two brothers.
