I just had to write about the Lewiston High School play I saw recently. I had my 92-year-old mother with me (and she enjoyed the play very much).

I have been to a Broadway show, numerous local plays and plays in other cities, but the play “The Wizard of Oz,” performed by young and older students from local schools and Lewiston High School was absolutely amazing.

It was the third “Wizard of Oz” production that I have seen and, I have to say, it was one of the best.

The acting, costumes, staging, music and, of course, Toto, were all outstanding. It was a wonderful job by all involved.

I am hoping that, in the future, any such production by the students will be supported by the public. It makes for a pleasant night out.

And, oh … how we loved the wicked witch, and she knows why.
