LEEDS — The fourth annual Rural Community Action Ministry’s Auction for Action will be held on Saturday, April 25, at the Leeds Community Church, 123 Church Hill Road in Leeds. The event will include live entertainment, refreshments and silent and live auctions. Proceeds of the auction will provide services for the most vulnerable residents in RCAM’s 13-town service area.
Music, refreshments, preview of the live auction items and the silent auction will begin at 6 p.m., with the live auction beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The auctioneer will be Errol “Abe” Additon, while singer-songwriter Mike Ladd, of Wayne, will provide the entertainment. Refreshments will include a variety of finger rolls, beverages and desserts.
Admission to the event is $10 for adults and children younger than 12 are free.
Items for auction will include handmade quilts, blueberries, firewood, homemade bread, Italian pottery espresso cups, pet supplies, a specialty basket of Cabot Cheese and gift certificates to a wide variety of businesses, goods and services.
