Supper April 11 at ‘Green Church’

MEXICO — A public supper will be served on Saturday, April 11, at 5 p.m. at the Mexico Congregational Church, UCC (the “Green Church”). The menu includes ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, coleslaw, homemade rolls and pies. Take-outs will be available at 5:30; call 364-8603. The price for adults is $8 and children under 12, $3.

Divine Mercy at Holy Savior

RUMFORD — Divine Mercy will be observed at the Holy Savior Parish on Sunday, April 12, at 2:30 p.m., chaplet at 3 p.m.

Light refreshments will be provided by the Daughters of Isabella in the church hall following the service.

Pageant for boys and girls

PERU — “Tiaras and Ties,” a pageant for boys and girls ages 2-12, will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at Dirigo Elementary School, 117 Auburn Road.

There are three age categories: 2-4, 5-9 and 10-12 years.

Contestants will be judged on dress-up, talent and interview.

Miss Maine Audrey Thames will be there.

Proceeds will benefit River Valley Relay for Life.
