I commend the Sun Journal staff writer for quoting the words of Laura Chesley of Rumford in the story about her missing crutches, printed on the front page April 3.
I also congratulate Chesley for standing up for her faith in Jesus and expressing her need for his help to forgive the person who wronged her.
We want forgiveness for ourselves, but how often do we think that asking forgiveness for others is a simple act?
In all that we need to do, we need to ask for God’s help. He gives freely.
