WILTON — A memorial celebration of life for Joseph Adam “Joe” Degone was held Monday, April 6 at 6 p.m. at Wiles Remembrance Center in Wilton. The service was officiated by the Rev. Joseph Daniels from St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. A eulogy was delivered by Joe’s father, Robert Degone and heartfelt remembrances were shared by several family members including the reading of a poem titled “I’m Free,” which was read by Joe’s sister, Brandy Degone. At the conclusion of the service, all were invited back to Robert’s house for a gathering. Cremation services are being cared for and provided by Wiles Remembrance Center in Wilton.
