Take-A-Chance Auction set for April 17

HIRAM — The fourth annual Take-A-Chance Auction will be held Friday, April 17, at the Sacopee Valley Middle School in Hiram.

Tickets will go on sale at 4 p.m., and the drawing will begin at 6:30 p.m. Bent or wrinkled tickets will not be accepted. Refreshments available for purchase. Preview many of the items on our Facebook Page, Ossipee Valley Fair.

Wilkins House holding indoor yard sale

WATERFORD — The first indoor yard sale of the season at the Wilkins House in Waterford will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 18.

Items for sale will include games, books, crafts and household items.

The Wilkins House is located on Plummer Hill Road next to the church in the center of Waterford. All proceeds from the sale benefit the Wilkins House and the Church.

VFW to host public breakfast

Ronald G St John VFW Post No. 9328 will host a public breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Sunday, April 19. 

The cost for adults is a $7 donation, children younger than 10 $3.
