ANDOVER — Selectmen unanimously voted Tuesday night to allow the Town Hall Restoration Committee to refinish the hall’s upstairs floors.

Committee Chairman and Selectman Jim Adler said the committee received money from the Knights of Pythias to do the work.

In other business, Ross Swain of Andover and the Ellis Pond Watershed Survey Committee gave the board a copy of their report and thanked the town for donating money for their work. Roxbury townspeople also donated money at town meeting.

Selectmen also:

* Unanimously voted to hire David Dolloff as a call-in attendant at the town transfer station at minimum wage.

* Approved contractor and purchase policies.

* Tabled for review a freedom of information policy after Adler said he would draft fees for such requests.

* Tabled a consent policy drafted by the town attorney on a legal matter until the board has financial figures in hand.
