1922 – 2015
AUBURN — Jeanne Évangeline Rousseau Laliberté, 93, beloved mother, sister and aunt, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, at Schooner Estates retirement community in Auburn.
The daughter of Joseph Rousseau and Josephine Bérubé, she was born in Sainte-Hélène-de-Kamouraska, Quebec, Canada. Jeanne was educated in Lewiston schools.
Jeanne worked briefly in a local mill and shoe shop before dedicating her life to homemaking for her late husband of 63 years, Raymond, and their only child. Jeanne enjoyed gardening and sewing.
She is survived by her daughter, Lucille of Sabattus; a sister, Thérèse Rousseau Goulet of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.
