1953 – 2015

FAYETTE — Larry N. Chicoine, 61, a resident of Fayette, passed away at his home, Tuesday, April 28.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 30, 1953, the son of Norman Chicoine and Lorriane (Putnam) Chicoine. He attended Livermore Falls High School. On Nov. 6, 1971, he married Diane Gagne in East Livermore.

Larry worked for Perry Transport as a foreman for 5½ years, was a road foreman for the Town of Fayette and was also self-employed in construction and trucking.

Larry enjoyed boating, camping, traveling to Florida and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane Chicoine of Fayette; his father and stepmother, Norm and Gloria Chicoine of Livermore; three sons, Jason Chicoine and his wife, Christine, of Fayette, Andy Chicoine and his wife, Theresa, of Livermore Falls, and Toby Chicoine of Fayette; five grandchildren, Dillan, Tyler, Cade, Ashley and Alexis Chicoine; his sister, Lisa Holt and her husband, Mark, of Livermore; his brother, Steve Chicoine of Chelsea; his stepbrother, Mike Collins of Livermore; three stepsisters, Barbara Brackett, Deb Neil and Karen Whittemore, all of Livermore; sister-in-law, Alice Chicoine of Windsor; nieces, Mikala Holt of Livermore and Brittany Stockmar of Augusta; and one nephew, Steven Chicoine of Portland; sisters-in-law, Darlene Robinson of Auburn, Loretta Norris of Sabattus, Penny Conley and her husband, Claude Richards, of Augusta, Elaine Levesque and her husband, Allen, of Waterville, and Norma Drake of Livermore Falls.
