AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library has announced its list of events for children in May.

Sprouts: Lap-sit program for babies to 3-year-olds. 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. Saturdays, May 2, 9, 16 and 23, in the children’s room.

Sweet Peas: Lap-sit program for 2- and 3-year-olds. 10:30 to 11 a.m. Mondays, May 4, 11, 18, in the children’s room.

Read to a Dog: Children practice reading skills by reading to a dog. 5 to 6 p.m., Thursday, May 7, in the children’s room.

Pre-School Story Time: Story program for ages 3 to 5. 10 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays, May 6, 13, 20 and 27, in the Maggie Trafton Room.

Chinese Story Time: 5 to 5:30 p.m., Mondays, May 4, 11 and 18, in the Maggie Trafton Room. FMI: [email protected].

KIDS! Saturday Stories: Program for ages 2 to 6. 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Saturday, May 16, in the the children’s room.
