TURNER — The annual Leavitt Father’s Day 5k will start at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 21, on the fields between the football field and track at Leavitt Area High School, located at 21 Matthews Way.

The race helps raise funds for the Leavitt cross country team. A number of parent-child teams run the trail, and there will be special prize drawings for parent-child teams.

There will also be a fabulous kids’ fun run starting at 8:15 a.m. for the youngest children or young beginners that will feature Redy the Dog from Let’s Go 5210, the Leavitt Hornet and, hopefully, a visit by the firetruck.

The youngest runner/walker last year was 4 years old.
