NEW GLOUCESTER — An educational display sponsored by the New Gloucester Environmental Resources Committee is featured at the public library highlighting various types of pollinators.
The display teaches on pollinators includes three types of bees, hummingbirds and butterflies. Tips are offered to encourage one to set up ways to attract these important wildlife pollinators.
Identification handouts and a list of web sites are available to aid learning more about pollinators. Instructions will be offered to construct a mason bee house, for example.
The display will be featured during library hours until the end of May when a drawing for 14 items will be held. The public is encouraged to fill out an entry form and place it in the box in front of the display for eligibility in the drawing.
