STARKS — Public remembrance services, honoring the life and lifetime of Elizabeth A. “Liz” Frederic who passed on Sunday, Jan. 11, were held Sunday afternoon, May 3, at 1 p.m., at the Starks Community Building with the Rev. Douglas Allan Dunlap officiating. Andy Buckland, guitarist, played a medley for the prelude and recessional and accompanied and led the congregation in singing “Turn, Turn, Turn,” “This Land is Your Land” and “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands.” Her brother, William Corbett, offered words composed by her twin sister, Elaine Peterson, and offered his own personal eulogy, followed by remembrances from the congregation and concluding with a personal eulogy from her husband, Paul Frederic. Following services, a reception was held at the center, where family and friends shared in breaking bread together, reviewing remembrances of her lifetime and watching a video memorial tribute. Committal services will be held Monday June 8, at 10 a.m., at the Frederic Cemetery, Chicken Road, Starks. All are welcome to attend. Arrangements are in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington.
