MILLINOCKET, Maine (AP) — Police say they are investigating the death of a 6-month-old baby boy in Millinocket, Maine.

State police spokesman Steve McCausland says an ambulance went to a home in Millinocket on Tuesday night and found the baby unresponsive. WABI-TV (http://bit.ly/1KqNdMj ) reports state police detectives are interviewing people involved with the family and medical personnel who responded to the scene.

The baby died at a Bangor hospital on Thursday afternoon after arriving there via helicopter.
