LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Lucia A. Binette on Friday, May 8, at Holy Family Church following prayers at The Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Marc Caron officiated and recited committal prayers at the graveside at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Niece, Laurie Ann Arrigoni, read the first reading and the prayer of the faithful. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Normand Saucier and Laurie Ann. Godchild, Rita L. Dube, delivered the eulogy. The casket bearers were Omer Parent Jr., Dan and Dave Michel, George Binette Jr., Normand and Paul Saucier and Bret Binette was an honorary bearer. Thelma Binette sang Lucia’s favorite songs at the graveside.
