1922 – 2015
Lewiston — Wilfrid E. Gaudette, 93, of 540 College St., Lewiston, died peacefully on Saturday, May 9, with his son by his side, at Montello Manor nursing home in Lewiston.
He was born in Lewiston on Feb. 17, 1922, the son of the late Jean and Clara Gaudette. He was employed at Bates College about 35 years ago.
He married Rita Dufresne in April 1952. He has been at Montello for the past three and a half years, before living at the Auburn Esplanade for 24 years.
Wilfrid enjoyed cooking, reading and watching television.
He is survived by one son, Gerard Gaudette of Lewiston.
