Legion to host public breakfast

BUCKFIELD — Buckfield American Legion will hold a public breakfast from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 23.

A 50/50 will also be drawn.

The cost of the meal is $6 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12.

Money raised will be used to fund our representative to Boys State in June.

Eighth Chakra class set for May 28

TURNER — MSAD No. 52 Adult and Community Education will offer the class The Eighth Chakra on Thursday, May 28.

Participants will participate in meditation designed to find and activate the eighth Chakra, or soul star. If the eighth Chakra is fully activated, it can expand the auric field, aligning and strengthening the connection to the soul.

Particpants should bring a beach chair, mat or blankets to class. Registration and payment can be made at the school’s web site.
