LEWISTON — The American Legion, Post 22, will install an officer and honor veterans this week.

Post Commander Jerry Dewitt will instate an officer at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at the Lewiston Armory. Those who attend should follow the dress code.

The Legion will parade to Veterans Memorial Park under the direction of Willie Denforth at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 23. The parade will reach Veterans Memorial Park for the ceremony and unveiling of Monument 27 and a bench to honor Jerry Der Boghosian. Introduction will be under the direction of Commander Dewitt.
