When the Auburn city budget passes, city officials should keep in mind (and homeowners should realize) that it takes the taxes from 60 homes valued at $150,000 to pay for just two (yes, just two) jobs in Auburn: the school superintendent and the fire chief.
Sixty homes for two jobs.
How nice for them. How sad for the rest.
