1958 – 2015

LEWISTON — Mary Archer, 57, of Poland, passed away on Saturday, May 23 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Lewiston on January 30, 1958, the daughter of Ralph and Charlene Robinson Cunliffe.

Mary attended Monmouth schools and was a 1976 graduate from Monmouth Academy. She attended USM at Gorham for one year. On June 18, 1996, in Poland, Mary and Tim Archer were married. Mary worked as a payroll specialist at Paychex in Auburn. She enjoyed cooking and knitting, she was an avid reader and loved her family very much.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Archer of Poland; her mother, Charlene Cunliffe of Lewiston; two sisters, Linda Ritchie of Orange Park, Fla., and Terry Whittier and her husband, Roger, of Monmouth; her brother, Jim Cunliffe and his wife, Ivy, of Monmouth; three stepchildren, Stephen Archer and his wife, Felicia, of Presque Isle, Tanya Palmer and her husband, John, of Corinth and Lindsy Archer of Presque Isle; grandchildren, John Michael Palmer and Colin Palmer; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Ralph Cunliffe.
