1921 – 2015
BERLIN, N.H. — Geneva (McKenna) Legendre, 93, of Berlin, N.H., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Coos County Nursing Home.
She was born in Cascade-Gorham, N.H., on March 18, 1921, the daughter of Alfred E. and Lena (Coulombe) McKenna and was a lifelong resident. She had been employed by McCready’s Dairy and Converse Rubber Co. and was a member of Holy Family Church.
Family includes her son, Rodney Legendre and wife, Pamela, of Randolph, N.H., and Venice, Fla.; grandsons, Scott Legendre of Gorham, N.H., and Dana Legendre of Berlin, N.H.; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy Legendre, Daniel Legendre and Kaylea McLeod; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice J. Legendre; and siblings, Alfred “Babe” McKenna, Michael “Mac” McKenna, Marshall “Bucky” McKenna, Agatha “Gaddy” Martin, Vivian Mainguy and Sherman McKenna.
